1. poetry is a journey of the mind through the ink of a pen in the hand of a storyteller with a vision read by a viewer and translated into the minds eye.
2. poetry is a view of the world from the point of view of the dreamer who transforms his visions to words and publishes them for the world to share.
3. the true artist paints from the soul and true beauty comes from within.
4. the true poet paints a picture with words and phrases. 
5. the poet pictures images in his mind and then paints them in yours with words and phrases.
